The J. Spencer Foundation provides services that empower individuals, families and communities to have a better life. We connect and provide families with needed resources, create and find employment opportunities, supportive services and housing options for many to achieve a form of or all together financial and economic independence. Our specialty is providing programs that empower, enhance and encourage our clients to have pathways out of poverty and change their current situation.

Houisng
We assist in helping to find housing solutions whether it be renting, leasing or buying. We provide HUD Certified 1st time Homebuyer classes, Assistance with Housing Choice Voucher programs, Low Income Apartment qualifications, We offer Family Unification programs, Family Self Sufficiency, Resident Opportunity Self Sufficiency Programs, We also offer Domestic Violence assistance, classes of Anger management, Parenting, Fatherhood classes.
Financial Services
We offer classes on Financial Management, Budgeting, Money Management, Credit, Taxes. We offer free income tax preparation through the VITA TAX program
Programs and Classes
You can sign up for our programs and classes on Employment, Job Search, Job Retention, Financial Literacy, VITA TAX Service, Entrepreneurship, Home-Ownership, Money Management, Domestic Violence, Parenting, Grief counseling, Life Skills, Survival Skills, cooking, and sewing classes. We also offer programs that deal with offender re-entry, co-parenting classes, relationship and marriage counseling, Fatherhood programs, empowerment seminars and much more.
WJIV
Texas Offender Re-Entry Program
The WJIV TORP is a program inspired and designed by Mr. WIlliam Jeter IV and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Spencer, to help ex-offenders from local county jails, juvenile facilities, state and federal prisons integrate back into society.
We here at the J. Spencer Foundation understand the pressures of coming home and starting your life over. We not only work with you the ex-offender but your family as well.
The WJIV TORP focuses on life skills, survival skills, job retention, job search, employment, education and counseling. We offer Fatherhood Classes, parenting and co-parenting classes, financial literacy, money management, budgeting, credit and we are now offering free income tax preparation and e-filing through the Vita Tax Program via the IRS. We have entrepreneurship classes, housing counseling and help finding housing. We are so much more than your average re-entry company let us help you create a new and better path for your life

J. Spencer Foundation is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. CLEANING AND HYGIENE
We are a multipurpose social service agency that wants to give back to our community. Many families are struggling with legal issues, employment, education, housing, transportation and social issues. The J. Spencer Foundation wants to help the many families who are working poor and living in poverty. Our goal is to help out and provide a hand up so you can move forward.
TIME

Are you ready for a men's parenting class? Father Fire is our interactive program that supports men in and through Fatherhood.
